Who can Purchase/ Sale Land in Uttarakhand
• The person who had freehold
registry(Plot/House/Shop) in Uttarakhand before 9th September 2003, can
purchase/sale land upto any limit without taking govt. permission.
• The person on whose name there is no registry in Uttarakhand, can
purchase Plot or Shop upto 250 metres area(Registry ca be done on the
name of only one member of a family) without taking Govt. Permission.
• If a person wants to purchase
land(Hotel/Farmhouse/Ashram/Factory) above 250 metres area, then he/she
has to take permission from Uttarakhand Govt.
• Anyone can purchase property on lease freely without taking govt.
permission. In Uttarakhand Lease is of 30 Years.
